During uncertain times in the property market, ways of reducing costs are being sought and many informed individuals and companies are now using Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) mitigation as part of a balanced tax planning portfolio.
At EDF Tax we recognise that not every property transaction is the same, and with this in mind we are able to offer a wide range of SDLT solutions. Fee insurance is available for every solution and vendor participation is not required.
Our SDLT strategies are suitable for residential purchases where the price exceeds £500,000 and for commercial purchases in excess of £1m. The effect is (typically) to reduce the SDLT liability to nil.
